Fun with Site Administration

It’s finally time to admit that my sense of being a Renaissance man is being put to the test by this site relaunch.

In the past 12 hours, I have managed to incorrectly change my dns server and kill my mx listing. So, if the site was unreachable, or if you’re still having problems sending me email to the laughingass.com domain — you now know why. The email thing should be sorted out by tomorrow (speedy dns propagation permitting).

Thankfully, I have good friends who live in the underworld that is *nix geekdom who can change my diaper and get me back online.

I only hope this gets resolved quickly.

Since I’ve been redsigning the site, I have unearthed lots of content that never made it on to the last version of the site.

Earlier tonight I added a trip report from a trip to the 24 Hours of Beer Festival in Belgium. I’ve gone three times now, and once since that report was written. The best parts of this report are the tips for attending beer festivals, and Rob’s photo. Good times!

I also just posted the photos from our Teach a Friend to Brew Day, which was held last November in conjunction with the American Homebrewing Association’s event of the same name. Looking at those photos and comparing how the setup has transformed over the past year is pretty amazing.
