Since it’s that time of year, I’m going to post a few gifts ideas for the brewer (or would be brewer) in your life. Check back over the next few weeks for different ideas.
Today’s pick: Zymurgy magazine subscription
I have been a lifetime member of the American Homebrewer’s Association (AHA) since 1998, and have been getting my copies of Zymurgy ever since. While it’s changed editors a few times in that stretch, one thing is consistent: I always get inspiration for my brewing after reading it.
For example, the latest issue covers many aspects of hop flavor, building a brewery from scrap metal, and a dozen recipes for those who just want to brew beer. And, the $38 subscription rate (6 issues/1 year) also carries membership in the AHA, which is good for discounts at pubs, brewing competitions and some brewing supply stores. It’s also good for an extra membership card — great for those who are still trying to fully develop their Constanza wallets.
