I’m here at gate E16 at ATL, waiting for my flight to board.
Around the time of the ‘96 Olympics, the airport installed various art pieces throughout the boarding areas. At my gate, this installation is hanging over the rows of seats.
The rules are simple: make it funny, but keep it clean (my parents are going to read this).
I’ll start –
1) This first alternatively fueled plane is unique in that it consumes itself in flight.
2) This new seating design allows for 360 degree views in flight.
Your turn.
More from Manchester.

After last weekend’s failed attempt at attending a far-flung beer festival, I am giving it another go this weekend.
Destination: Manchester, England for the UK Winter Ales Festival
While not top of mind here in the US, Manchester is home to a few things that even the most sheltered American has run across:
>> Boddington’s Ale (pictured below)
>> the Manchester United Football (not soccer) Team,
>> The Smiths

Look for more dispatches from the road.
Cheers!
