England is so into bar sports that one of the *5* tv channels in the whole country is dedicated to Saturday night snooker.
Yes, prime time. Saturday night.
Can you imagine one of our major networks playing the PBA Bowling Tour at 10pm, against Desperate Housewives? We love our trash TV, and can’t wait for the kids to go to bed to watch all the Wysteria Lane hi-jinks.
In France, Canal 2 becomes quite like Skinemax after 10pm — “to set the mood” don’t you know.
With all this nail-biting billiards going on, I wonder what mood is being set in living rooms across the UK tonight.

Everything looked so good.
Who knew it could be so filling? 2 sashimi plates, a salmon sushi and a curry chicken with rice later, I am quite contented. And the price was right, nevermind the bar seating worked out perfectly for a single diner. Excellent!

Ever dream of a world where little pre-made sushi treats roll toward you non-stop via a conveyor belt?
It exists today, at Yo! Sushi.
You want? Grab it. Repeat until you’re finished. While you contemplate the choices rolling toward (and away from) you, the latest club tunes will keep you bopping in your seat.

This could very well be a shelf at Kroger, but it is a display at department store Selfridge’s.
Things we take for granted are exotic (read: more expensive) over here.

‘Nuff said.
