A small change in plans. Our direct flight is now a connector through Las Vegas.

At least we get in-flight entertainment to pacify us for the next 3.5 hours.

Oregon Brewer’s Festival countdown is under way

In two short days, Tom McCall Waterfront Park in downtown Portland will be hosting 72 of the best independent brewers on the west coast for the 19th Annual Oregon Brewer’s Festival.

I’ve been wanting lusting to go to this festival for years and have been threatening to drag Andrea out there for as many years. While I would like to think the beers and great weather were enough of a draw, I think it’s really the prospect of a day at the biggest book store in the US — Powell’s — that has her excited to go.
