If Sgt. Rock drank beer…

…this is what the can would look like.

Who is Sgt. Rock? He’s the comic-book character from the 70s (or so) who was the protoypical military hardass. Everything about him was crumpled or somehow obviously not pristine. His uniform was battle-worn. His sunglasses were bent. Best of all, he smoked cigarettes that were bent six ways — the product of being sat on, belly-crawled on, and other high-action combat maneuvering.

While this photo might not do it justice, this Amstel Light apparently has seen more than a couple of take-offs and landings. The sheer number of small dings (outside of the dented top of he can) makes it worthy of the Sarge’s consideration.

I suppose the bigger question I should ask, knowing the can’s condition, is just how old *is* this beer?
