Three beers for good friends

Sean and Steph are back in town for the weekend, so we’re having some beers and Thai food.

Left to right: Stone Brewing’s 9th Anniversary ale, Fat Tire (yummy), and Three Floyds’ Alpha Klaus christmas porter (damn yummy).

The 9 is a malty golden ale that smells lightly of apricots (?), or even a barleywine but coats the palette on the way down. The finish is slightly hot, but also has hoppy spiciness and a little bit of lime too.

More later after we have dinner.
