Celebrating our Presidents

On Monday, our country will take pause to drink beer, catch up on email, or in some rare cases, celebrate the contributions of George Washington and Abraham Lincoln: Presidents’ Day.

Andrea and I plan to celebrate Presidents’ Day as well — only we’ll be doing it in Seattle, at a club called the Showbox, and with the band The Presidents of the United States of America. Yes, the same one that sang about Peaches, a Little Blue Dune Buggy, and a Mach 5 during that post-grunge chunk of the 90s.

Since Seattle is also a target-rich environment for all things beer, you can bet that we’ll snag a few tasty brews while we’re there (and likely some good coffee too). We’ll let you know how it goes from the road.
