Brewery(?) Visit: Heartland Brewery

It’s my Mom’s birthday, and we’re in NYC to celebrate!

Before we start stomping around town, we need to fuel up. Since we’re staying around the corner from South Street Seaport, we’re lunching at the Heartland Brewery here.

The “Yoyage Around the World” sampler pictured here is mine, to avoid incriminating Rose. She is having a pint of lager with her lunch, and Jack is having whatever I put in front of him.

The sampler’s highlights are the Indiana Pale Ale and the stout. I’ll skip the descriptions, since we only have 3 days in the city — but just trust me on this one.
