A Toast to Fun-Employment!

Today is my first day of parole from the working world, and we are at
the Brick to celebrate.

I’m drinking a dunkel weiss from Weyerbacher — Slam Dunkel. It is a
worthy competitor for Aventinus’ title as reigning champ of that
style, but slightly roastier.

Dinner company has arrived…more soon.

    Nice-congrats! Coincidentally, I was drinking Weihenstephaner Vitus, another weizenbock; it just started getting sold here. Tastes a lot like Aventinus, is very spicy, but much more golden–not dark at all.
