When you’re on the road as a consultant, you sometimes find yourself doing things you wouldn’t necessarily do at home (either out of boredom, or because your per diem will cover it).

Today’s installment: falling prey to the Whole Foods fruit-aisle display of Wells Banana Bread beer.

I should have known by the way the pint glass rose from the banana peel that this was a bad move. The neck label’s citing of beer being known as "liquid bread" as a tie-in to naming the beer was also suspect.

In any event, I should have done the math. And, I wish I could have that $4.99 back.
