Beach beer delivery, option 2

A few hours of laying on the underwater chaise lounges at poolside will make anyone thirsty. While having Silvia or Marisol bring us beers was quite handy, that level of service would be tedious (and expensive) while watching the US’ world cup match.

So I took a little trip to the bodega across the street and picked up a sampling of the available Mexican beers for in-room consumption.

Since it is a conveneience store, the selection isn’t great, but it was cheaper. Even with bodega pricing, the cans were 11.5 pesos, versus 48 pesos at the hotel bar.

I just finished the Dos Equis light lager — unremarkable, but wet and alcoholic. Looks like the Tecate might be next.

Glad you’re having fun - looks nice, hot, and muy mexicano.

I’m actually prepping a starter for Aventinus Clone 2: The Hebrew Strikes Back. And enjoying my own cool refreshing brew - the Brewferm tripel I made last summer; I had kind of forgotten about it, but it’s turned-out nice. HAIL YEAST!

    And …. GOOOOOOOOOAL!

Hmmm … last comment didn’t show up - here’s another just to let you know how much I care.

Sorry about that, man. I had the comments set to manual approval, as I’ve been fighting comment spam recently.

Glad to hear you’re back on the brewing wagon…too bad I can’t say as much for the US team.
