The journey starts (finally)

What do you get when you add a holiday weekend to a massive rainstorm in Atlanta?

A change in plans (or a couple of them).

So far, my routing to Anchorage has been changed from doing a single connection through Salt Lake City, to a double connection through Seattle, and now to a different double connection through Portland. And I had to rush to the airport to make the new flight to Portland (in the soaking rain).

Sigh of relief indeed.

I need a beer.
