Nightcap: New Belgium’s Springboard Ale

Among the cool things about our hotel is the little ground-floor lounge that has a short but decent tap list. Of the four available draft offerings was this one, the latest seasonal offering from New Belgium.

From the description I saw, it is a Belgian style light ale, made with wacky additives like goji berries (!!?!). Wacky or not, it is really damn tasty. It’s a lightly colored and flavored ale with an herbal presence and slightly sweet finish. It’s hard to describe, but clearly does not suck.

And, being served in the signature glassware finishes the presentation.
