After last weekend’s failed attempt at attending a far-flung beer festival, I am giving it another go this weekend.

Destination: Manchester, England for the UK Winter Ales Festival

While not top of mind here in the US, Manchester is home to a few things that even the most sheltered American has run across:
>> Boddington’s Ale (pictured below)
>> the Manchester United Football (not soccer) Team,
>> The Smiths
