Bustling downtown Anchorage

Bustling downtown Anchorage

It’s 950 am and the sun is (finally) coming up over downtown.

The Captain Cook Hotel is in contention for the tallest building in A’town, and our 17th floor perch gives us a decent vantage point. You can tell from the “traffic jam” pictured here that the A’towners are scurrying about to get to work.

Meanwhile, we’re having breakfast at a little cafe down the street. Kala just informed us that they are out of reindeer sausage. Looks like I’ll be having the other red meat.
