Off to Alaska!

If you followed my attempt to make this trip last year, you were probably expecting to see me reporting about things like our fur-draped friend here.

I was hoping to grow out my mountain man facial hair in time for the trip, but couldn’t follow through on it. So, to have any shred of mountain man cred, I might have to grab a stack of beaver pelts and beaded belts at the local trading post. (I’d rather not check my vintage muzzle-loader and risk it getting lost, you see.)

Mark will be joining me for the trip this time, and he’ll be helping me publish the trip report with his own Treo 600. And if nothing else, should there be another volcanic intervention, at least I won’t be drinking by myself.
