Around The World: PBR Me in HKG!

I’m not sure this needs much explanation, but slacker hipsters who happen to make it to Hong Kong will be able to push their über-street cred to the limit. The price is about $2 US for a 1 liter bottle, almost the same as back home.

How have you been received as an American in the places you’ve been so far? As “special” as Tokyo?
Not so far.
While I certainly look different than any of the cultures on this trip, no one has gone out of their way to be helpful like in Tokyo. On the other hand, as a 6-foot tall westerner, everyone has been more than willing to sell you some sh*t.
Loads of people think you always need a taxi, honking at you as they slow down. Or that you want to buy some fake luxury watches. Or that you want a “special” massage. I avoided them all, but there is certainly no lack of effort on thier part.
