In spite of my ridiculous work schedule of late, I have managed to squeeze in a couple of brews for spring.
Now carbonating in the beer fridge: Steaming Pile, a California Common style (ala Anchor Steam) and “shake off the rust” brew that officially ended my 4 month brewing hiatus; and Reinvention Ale, a special brew created to commemorate an upcoming project launch.
I’m glad to get the beer fridge full again. I can’t wait for these to get carbonated!

Patrick,
I’ll have two batches, a Tongue Splitter and a Chinook Ale on tap next weekend, the 12th. Perhaps a sampler session?

I have a work thing during the day on the 12th, but it shouldn’t go past 4pm. if that’s not too late, perhaps we can hook up.
Dude … I want to try some ‘Steaming Pile’.
Anchor Steam is a beer that brings back memories for me … but there is room in that genre for improvement.
I have always enjoyed drinking Anchor Steam with a dinner of steamed clams.
Although I could not imagine enjoying steamed clams
in the same way without this beer, for as long as I can remember *and yes — even before I was ‘legal’* the clams have outshone the beer.
But … would it not be great if the tables were turned, and the beer was better than the already superb clams?
I have a crazy suspicion and undying hope that Laughing ass Steaming Pile could be such a beer!
